The Dräger PARAT® 1260 is a compact and lightweight escape device designed for rapid evacuation from industrial environments. Unlike full-face hoods, it features a mouthpiece and nose clip configuration, which ensures a secure and direct seal for breathing while maintaining a small, portable form factor.
This device is equipped with a high-performance multi-gas ABEK 10 filter, which provides protection against a wide range of toxic industrial gases and vapours, including organic and inorganic compounds, ammonia derivatives, and acid gases. It is approved to the only recognized standard for filtering industrial escape devices, DIN 58647-7, and offers users a minimum escape time of 10 minutes to safely leave a contaminated area.
The entire device, along with its filter, is vacuum-sealed within an aluminum barrier bag. This specialized packaging provides an exceptional level of protection against environmental factors such as moisture, oxygen, and UV light, making the PARAT® 1260 better suited for long-term storage across diverse climate zones, including extreme heat, cold, or humid conditions.
