The APT M131: Back fill Tamper is used for soil compaction, temporary filling of holes, asphalt packing etc. APT Tampers come with a choice of 3 styles of butts, a 6" diameter (approx. 5 lbs), 3" round butt (approx. 5 lbs) and a pole butt (approx. 5 lbs). The half-moon shaped pole butt is for compaction around a pole and the 3" diameter butt for confined space compaction.
